1. The following core courses: Strength of Materials 200 level, Circuit Theory, Entrepreneurial Studies 300 level, Advanced Circuit Techniques, Advance Programming and Statistics 400 level are omitted in the curriculum. 2. Staff Mix by rank 61:11:28 is not consistent with NUC guideline by virtue of high proportion of professors. 3. The staff/student ratio is 1:19, it does not complied with NUC guidelines of 1:15. 4. The number of Technologists for the programme is inadequate. 5. Only 58% of the academic staff and 66.6% of non academic staff benefited from staff development. 6. Academic Staff offices are slightly inadequate in space and not adequately furnished. 7. Recommended text and journals are not very current. 8. Research and collaboration does not have a multidisciplinary approach. 9. Funding for the programme is inadequate

1. These core courses should be added to the curriculum in line with the BMAS. 2. The University should ensure staff mix by rank is in line with NUC guideline 20:35:45 by employing staff in the Senior Lecturer cadre and below. 4. Additional Technologists should be recruited for the programme. 5. The University should ensure all academic and non academic staff benefit from staff development. 6. The University should ensure standard space and furnishing of academic staff offices. 7. The University should provide very current text and journals for the programme.

The total score for the programme is 82.80%. It scored 34 (91.89%) in Academic Matters, 27 (77.14%) in Staffing, 24.5 (90.74%) in Physical Facilities, 13 (72.22%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
