1. Staff Mix by rank of 18:47:35 does not meet the NUC guidelines of 20:35:45.
2. Academic and Non-Academic Staff Development is inadequate
3. There are few fire extinguishers and sand buckets in the facilities for the programme

 

1. The University should engage more qualified Academic Staff across the various levels.
2. The University should improve on Staff Development especially for Non-Academic Staff.
3. More fire extinguishers and sand buckets should be procured.

 

The total score for the programme is 92.60%. It scored 35.5 (95.95%)  in Academic Matters, 31 (88%) in Staffing, 24.75 (91.67%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2.5 (83.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
