REMEDIES

1. There are no books in the Physical library
2. Academic staff are inadequate
3. No Bookshelves in the staff offices
4. The nomenclature for secretariat administration to be corrected

 

1. Books online are to be downloaded, bind and put in the Physical library
2. More Academics staff are needed at Professorial level in secretariat stud.
3. Bookshelves are to be provided for the staff offices
4. The correct nomenclature ( Secretariat Studies ) as approved by NUC is to be upheld

 

The total score for the programme is 92.44%. It scored 31 (93.94%)  in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
