1. The standard of the examination questions does not cover the curriculum.

2. Practicals conducted are not of good quality.

3. Fifty percent of the non-academic staff have not benefitted from staff development programs in the last five years, whether conferences, seminars, or training.

4. Funding for the program is inadequate.

3. The University should ensure that all the non-academic staff benefit from the staff development programs.

4. The University should ensure that the Programme is well-funded.

 

The total score for the programme is 93.28%. It scored 27 (81.82%)  in Academic Matters, 34 (97%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
