1. 3 out of 8 students admitted into the programme did not meet the admission requirements; 2. The coding system is not done well to differentiate first semester courses from second semester courses. 3. Some practical works conducted do not cover the Curriculum. 4. External examiner exist but his work is not impressive. 5. The staff mix by rank- 28:57; 28:57; 42:86 is consistent with NUC guidelines in only one category. The staffing on professorial cadre is overshot by 8.57 while the senior lecturer cadre is under staffed. 6. The University subscribed to only one database, the other databases have expired but have open source materials. 7. Books and Journals in the physical library are inadequate in number. 8. Funding is inadequate for the programme.

1. The University should ensure that all admitted students meet all admission requirements. 2. Coding semester of courses should be encouraged. 3. The University should ensure that practical conducted covers the Curriculum. 4. The University should provide a good external examiner. 5. The University should ensure a staff mix by rank of 20:35:45 in line with the NUC approved guidelines. 6. The University should ensure that additional databases is renewed. 7. More books and journals should be procured for the programme. 8. The programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 74.40%. It scored 28 (75.68%) in Academic Matters, 29 (82.86%) in Staffing, 20 (74.07%) in Physical Facilities, 13 (72.22%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 1 (33.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
