1. Only one innovative course introduced in the curriculum. 2. The internal quality assurance mechanism is not effective. 3. 42.9% of academic staff did not benefit from staff development. 4. 50% of non-teaching staff did not benefit from the staff development. 5. Pressure Volume Temperature Laboratory equipment such as HP-HT Viscometer, Liquid Condensation Trap, PVT Cell, Gasometer, Liquid and Gas Permeameters and Porosimeters not available for the programme. 6. Academic staff offices are not adequate in space. 7. Funding for the programme is inadequate

1. More innovative courses should be introduced in the curriculum. 2. The University should ensure that the internal quality assurance unit is effective to impact on the programme. 3. All academic staff are encouraged to benefit from staff development programme. 4. All non-teaching staff are encouraged to benefit from staff development programme. 5. All essential Pressure Volume Temperature Laboratory equipments should be provided for the programme. 6. Standard and adequately furnished academic staff offices should be provided for the programme. 7. The programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 76.00%. It scored 29 (78.38%) in Academic Matters, 28 (80.00%) in Staffing, 19 (70.37%) in Physical Facilities, 14 (77.78%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
