1. Practical conducted does not cover the curriculum
2. 66% of academic staff, 50 of non-teaching staff does not benefit from staff development for the past three years
3. Laboratories equipment like robotics are adequate in numbers
4. Staff offices are not adequate in space and does not have attached toilet
5. Fire extinguisher and sand bucket are not adequate in number
6. Funding is not adequate

 

1. The Department should ensure that, Practical conducted should cover the curriculum
2. The University Should ensure that all staff benefit from staff development for the past three years
3. The University should procure laboratories equipment like robotics in the departmental laboratories
4. The University should ensure that staff offices should be built with more adequate space
5. The University should procure more fire extinguisher and sand bucket in the school
6. More Funding should be provided to the programme

 

The total score for the programme is 86.78%. It scored 33 (94%)  in Academic Matters, 29 (83%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
