1. Practical work conducted did not cover the curriculum. 2. 30.4% of academic staff do not have PhD. degree programme. 3. 50% of the non-teaching staff have not benefited from staff development programme. 4. Office equipment for academic staff such as bookshelves, file cabinets and refrigerators in some offices are not available. 5. Library books and journals are inadequate in currency. 6. The library subscription to e-books and e-journals is active to at least one (1) relevant data base in addition to open source for the programme. 7. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

1. The University should ensure that practical work adequately cover the curriculum. 2. The University should ensure that all academic staff have PhD degree programme. 3. The University should ensure that all non-teaching staff benefit from staff development programme. 4. The University should provide more office equipment for teaching staff. 5. More current books and journals should be procured for the programme. 6. The University should subscribe to at least two (2) relevant database e-resources for the programme. 7. The programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 90.08%. It scored 31.4 (95.15%) in Academic Matters, 32 (91.43%) in Staffing, 24 (88.89%) in Physical Facilities, 14.8 (82.22%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of FULL accreditation status for the Programme
