REMEDIES

1. Space for all the studios is inadequate.

2. . Professorial offices are not adequate. They are not
spacious and lack in-built conveniences.

3. Back up power system not available for for the studios.

 

1. The University should provide adequate space for all the studios available for the programme.

2. Professorial offices should be well equipped with state of
the
art facilities like televisions, refrigerators, white boards, in
built
conveniences and book shelves.

3. Back up power systems like solar system should be deployed to cater for all the studio power needs. This is essential to prevent power outage during Radio or Tv productions.

 

The total score for the programme is 90.40%. It scored 35 (95%)  in Academic Matters, 35 (100.00%) in Staffing, 22 (81.5%) in Physical Facilities, 14 (77.8%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
