REMEDIES

1. Only 53% of academic staff have benefited from staff
development programme in the last 3 years.

2. The are no modern facilities like digital consoles, mixers
and cameras.

3. Professorial offices are not adequate. They are not
spacious and lack in-built conveniences.

 

1. All academic staff should participate in various staff
development programmes.

2. The University should acquire more modern facilities like
digital consoles, mixers and cameras.

3. Professorial offices should be well equipped with state of the
art facilities like televisions, refrigerators, white boards, in built
conveniences and book shelves.

 

The total score for the programme is 88.00%. It scored 34 (92%)  in Academic Matters, 32 (91%) in Staffing, 23 (85.2%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
