REMEDIES

1. Partial compliance with CCMAS; some courses were omitted.
2. Internal quality insurance not effective
3. Only 67% of the teaching staff have a Ph.D.

 

1. GST 112 Nigerian Peoples and Culture and AMS 104 Principles of Project Management should be introduced.
2. There should be regular meetings of the internal quality assurance committee.
3. All teaching staff should have a PhD.

 

The total score for the programme is 89.92%. It scored 25 (80.65%)  in Academic Matters, 32.5 (93%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 16.5 (91.67%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
