1. The following Courses in the Curriculum are not taught at the appropriate levels: PHYS 323 -Electric Circuits and Electronics, PHYS 331- Thermal Physics, PHYS 309- Energy and Environment, and PHYS 222 – Electromagnetism. 2. 68% of the non-teaching staff have not benefitted from a staff development programme in the past three years. 3. The physical library holdings are inadequate in number and coverage. 4. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

The university should ensure that PHYS 323 -Electric Circuits and Electronics, PHYS 331- Thermal Physics, PHYS 309- Energy and Environment, and PHYS 222 – Electromagnetism are taught at the appropriate level. 2. The University should ensure that all non-academic staff benefit from staff development for the programme.

The total score for the programme is 91.60%. It scored 29 (93.55%) in Academic Matters, 33 (94.00%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 14 (77.78%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
