REMEDIES

1. Academic regulations exit in student’s handbook but do not include rules governing the conducts of examinations and penalties for examination malpractices.

2. The space in the law clinic for student’s consultation is inadequate for the programme.

3. The internal quality assurance mechanism is not effective, there are no evidence of minutes of meetings.

4. Smart board, projectors and public address system is not available for the programme.

5. Some academic Staff offices are not well furnished with filing cabinet and book shelves.

6. Physical Library books and Journals are inadequate in number and coverage.

7. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

8. There is no evidence of research and collaboration for the programme.

1. The University should review the departmental handbook to include penalties for examination malpractices.

2. The University should provide a spacious consultation from for the law clinic.

3. The University should ensure that minutes of meetings are adequately documented

4. All essential equipment should be provided for the programme in line with the BMAS.

5. Standard (spacious) well-furnished offices should be provided for the academic staff of the programme.

6. More current books and journals should be procured for the programme.

7. The Programme should be adequately funded.

8. The University should ensure that there is research and collaboration in the programme.
