1. The test and examination are of good standard but do not cover the curriculum. 2. Practical work conducted did not cover the curriculum. 3. The staff mix by rank of 20:40:40 does not meet the NUC approved guidelines for the discipline in two categories. 4. 50% of academic staff and none of the non-teaching staff have not benefited from staff development programme. 5. Laboratory equipment such as: lighten tables, scanner, plotter, automated weather station, software like ASC view are not available and is no constant water and power supply. The internet facilities are not available. 6. Classrooms are poorly lighting and ventilated, equipment such as white boards are in bad condition. 7. Access to available e-books and e-journals for staff and student is available only to campus hotspots and intranet. 8. Funding for the programme is inadequate

1. The University should ensure that test and examination adequately cover the curriculum. 2. The University should ensure that practical work adequately cover the curriculum. 3. The University should ensure a staff mix by rank of 20:35:45 in line with the NUC approved guidelines. 4. The University should ensure that all academic staff and non-teaching staff benefit from staff development programme. 5. All essential laboratory equipment should be provided for the programme. 6. The University should provide white boards for classrooms with good ventilation and lighting. 7. The University should provide more access to available e-books and e-journals to internet and library website. 8. The programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 80.00%. It scored 32 (86.49%) in Academic Matters, 27 (77.14%) in Staffing, 21 (77.78%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
