1. Marking schemes are not weighted. 2. 41% of the academic staff are core to the subject area. 3. Essential laboratory equipment’s such as centrifuge, Fire extinguishers, fridge and updated immunization schedule are not adequate. 4. Academic staff offices are not well furnished with bookshelves, filling cabinet and fridge. 5. Physical library books and journals are inadequate for the programme.

1. The University should ensure that marking schemes are weighted and marks are consistent. 2. The University should ensure that 75% and above of academic staff are core to the subject area. 3. The University should ensure that all essential equipment’s are procured for the programme. 4. Standard and well furnished academic staff offices should be provided for programme. 5. More current books and journals should be procured for the programme.

The total score for the programme is 81.82%. It scored 29 (87.88%) in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 19 (70.37%) in Physical Facilities, 13 (72.22%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
