1. Standard of test and examination do exist however, blocking marking was observed. 2. There is no existence of quality assurance system at the department al level. 3. Department is head by a lecturer 1 academic with Ph.D 4. Academic staff Office is inadequate in space 5. The physical library Materials are not very adequate in coverage and currency. 6. Funding is not very adequate for the Programme. 7. Research and Collaboration exist however, no multidisciplinary approach applied

1. University should ensure that mark distribution to questions in other to avoid block marking. 2. University should ensure that there is existence of quality assurance at the departmental level . 3. University should ensure that department is always run by a qualify Senior Lecturer and above. 4. More spacious offices should be provided for academic staff especially staff at the professorial cadre. 5. More relevant books and journals should be provided in the physical library both in coverage and currency. 7. There should be multidisciplinary approach on research and collaboration both within and outside the country.

The total score for the programme is 90.76%. It scored 29 (90.63%) in Academic Matters, 34 (97%) in Staffing, 23 (85.19%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
