1. Equipment in the staff offices is in inadequate.

2. Classrooms did not meet the safety requirement.

3. Non-compliance to health and safety measures (positioning of power supply (generator)).

 

1. The University should make provision for office equipment
such as file cabinets, bookshelves, file jackets, office
toiletries, safe, white maker board, and working material.

2. The University should ensure safety measures are
adhered to by creating exit doors in the classrooms and
provisions of more extinguishers and sand buckets to be
placed at strategic points.

3. The University should ensure that the power supply to the econometrics laboratory is position in a designated area away from the classroom.

 

The total score for the programme is 94.40%. It scored 37 (100.00%)  in Academic Matters, 32 (91%) in Staffing, 24 (88.89%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
