The classrooms are not adequately equipped with some essential learning materials such as properly lightening, public address system and projectors/computers The staff by rank of 24:28:48 is not consistent with the NUC guidelines in the senior lecturers and lecture 1& below cadre Only 65% of the teaching staff have PhD degrees in the programme Office accommodation for professors are not adequate in space as they do not have secretariats and private restrooms Safety and environmental sanitation do not adequately comply with the government laws as some fire extinguishers have expired and toilets are not regularly tidied-up Funding for the programme is not adequate

The University should ensure that adequate learning materials are provided for the students in the programme Th staff mix by rank of 20:35:45 should be maintained in all categories of lecturers cadre The University should ensure that all the teaching staff have PhD degree in the programme The University ensure that adequate office accommodation are provided for the professors and other lecturers in the programme The University should ensure that the safety and environmental sanitation adequately comply with the government laws Th programme should be adequately funded

The total score for the programme is 88.99%. It scored 30 (93.75%) in Academic Matters, 31 (88%) in Staffing, 12 (75.00%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of FULL accreditation status for the Programme
