REMEDIES

1. Some courses like AED 122 (Practical Farm Work) AED 123 (Farm
Biometrics and SIWES practice are not included in the curriculum as
contained in NUC BMAS/CCMAS.
2. No farmland allocated for each student’s practical work.

3. Staff offices are not well equipped.

 

1. The University should ensure courses in the CCMAS/BMAS
are included in the curriculum.

2. It is recommended that students should own their individual plots for
farm practical.

3. The University should ensure that staff offices are equipped with
bookshelves, visitors chairs, TV, Refrigerators etc.

 

The total score for the programme is 92.40%. It scored 34.5 (93%)  in Academic Matters, 34 (97%) in Staffing, 23 (85%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
