Practical work conducted does not adequately cover the curriculum as software in digital logic design and website design and management are not available. 37.5% of the non-teaching staff have not benefitted from Staff Development Programme in past three years The Computer software laboratory is inadequate in space. Laboratory equipment such as Eeprom digitizer is not available in hardware laboratory, computer systems are inadequate in number and no database systems installed in the software laboratory. Classrooms lack public address system, projectors and furniture are not well maintained. Internet connectivity is slow and impedes access to e-resources. Funding is inadequate for the programme

The University should ensure to provide all relevant software tools for the computer software laboratory. The University should ensure that all non-teaching benefit from the Staff Development Programme. The University should provide a more spacious software computer laboratory for the programme. The University should ensure all relevant equipment in the software and hardware laboratory The University should provide teaching aid tools and ensure furniture are well maintained. The University should ensure that internet connectivity is improved upon . The programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 88.89%. It scored 31 (93.94%) in Academic Matters, 32 (97%) in Staffing, 21 (77.78%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of FULL accreditation status for the Programme
