1.The offices of the professors are not adequately furnished as their conveniences are located outside their offices

2. There is no provision for the physically challenged students in the programme
3. Some recommended textbooks in the physical library are not available fro the programme such as Food and Nutrition, Food Engineering and Food Microbiology
4. Funding for the programme is inadequate

 

The University should ensure that well furnished offices are provided fro the professors with inbuilt conveniences.

The University should ensure that provision is made fro the physically challenged students for easy access

More physical books on Food and Nutrition, Food Engineering and Food Microbiology should be provided for the programme

The programme should be adequately funded

 

The total score for the programme is 92.98%. It scored 32 (96.97%)  in Academic Matters, 34 (97.14%) in Staffing, 22.5 (83.33%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
