REMEDIES

1. The laboratories equipment inspected are slightly inadequate in quantity.
2. The lecture theatres do not have toilet facilities for students.
3. The HOD office is slightly below the regulatory standard.
4. Some fire extinguishers are not up to date.
5. funding are inadequate

 

1. The university laboratories should improve the quantity of its equipment.
2. The university should provide toilet facilities for students.
3. The University is to note that, the HOD office should be well furnished.
4. The university is to make sure that fire extinguishers are service.
5. The university is advice to improve the funding of the department.

 

The total score for the programme is 92%. It scored 37 (100%)  in Academic Matters, 35 (100%) in Staffing, 20 (74%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.4%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.3%) in Funding, 3 (100%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
