1. Examination questions are mostly of poor standard. Questions are more of simple terms definitions and do not cover the curriculum. 2. Students in the programme demonstrated avarage hard and soft skills relevant to the programme. 3. Internal quality assurance system is not effective as there are no evidence of frequent meetings or records of decisions taken. 4. All the non-teaching staff in the programme did not benefit from staff development programme. 5. Ther is no Laser Printer in the hardware laboratory, no collaborative tools for development. 6. Academic staff offices are inadequate in space. 7. There are inadequate number of books related to Compiler Construction, Information System Theory, Robotics and Multimedia Technology in the physical library. 8. Funding is inadequate for the programme.

1. The University should ensure proper moderation of examination questions. Examination questions should also cover the scope of the curriculum. 2. The University should ensure that students in the programme acquire relevant hard and soft skills relevant to the programme. 3. The University should ensure an effective quality assurance system is in place to impact on the programme. 4. The University should ensure that all non-teaching staff in the programme benefit from staff development programme. 5. All essential equipment should be provided for the laboratory. 6. Standard (spacious) offices should be provided for the academic staff in the programme. 7. The University should procure current recommended texts on Compiler Construction, Information System Theory, Robotics and Multimedia Technology. 8. The Programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 89.02%. It scored 31.5 (90.00%) in Academic Matters, 33 (94.00%) in Staffing, 23 (85.19%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
