1. The department lacks dedicated classroom for the programme.
2. 47% of the academic staff are not core to subject area to the programme.
3. Multi-media resources Facilities are not available for the programme.
4. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

 

1. The University should ensure a requirement minimum of one dedicated classroom for the programme
2. The University should ensure that 75% of teaching staff should be core to subject area for the programme.
3. The University should provide multi-media resources facilities fro the programme.
4. Adequate funding should be provided for the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 88.80%. It scored 36 (97.30%)  in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 20 (74.07%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
