1. Examination questions are mostly of poor standard. Questions are more of simple terms definitions and do not adequately cover the curriculum. 2. Internal quality assurance system is not effective as there are no evidence of frequent meetings and records of decisions taken. 3. 30% of the teaching staff in the programme are not core to the subject area. 4. None of the non-teaching staff in the programme benefit from staff development programme. 5. The Computers in the software laboratory is inadequate in number. 6. Academic Staff offices is inadequate in space. 7. There is inadequate number of books on Software Reliability, Net-centric Computing and Compiler Construction in the physical library. 8. There is no evidence of multidisciplinary approach to research carried out by staff in the programme.

1. The University should ensure proper moderation of examination questions. The questions should also cover the scope of the curriculum. 2. The University should ensure an effective internal quality assurance system to impact on the programme. 3. The University should ensure that 75% or more of the teaching staff are core to the subject area. 4. The University should ensure that all the non-teaching staff in the programme benefit from staff development programme. 5. The University should ensure more computers are procured for the software laboratory. 6. Standard (spacious) offices should be provided for thhe academic staff in the programme. 7. More current books on Software Reliability, Net-Centric Computing and Compiler Construction should be provided in the physical library. 8. The University should ensure that academic staff in the programme engage in multidisciplinary research.

The total score for the programme is 87.80%. It scored 32 (91.43%) in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 23 (85.19%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
