1. The staff mix by rank for the programme is inadequate where the professor is top heavy with 65 percent, while the senior lecturers are only 5 percent and lecturer 1 and below 29 percent
2. The sand bucket at some spots within the environment is not kept full

 

1. As the professors retire, the senior lecturers and lecturer 1 and below should be employed
2. effort should always be made for the sand bucket to constantly be kept full

 

The total score for the programme is 93%. It scored 37 (100.00%)  in Academic Matters, 30 (86%) in Staffing, 26 (96.30%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
