Staff Development Programme for non-academic is only benefitted 4 out of the 6 Technical staff available

Funding for the programme is inadequate

 

The Internal Quality Assurance should be made functional
Research and Collaboration should impact immediate community need and need to sign memorandum of understanding globally
Staff Development Programme for non-academic staff should be increased to cover more staff
Funding for the programme should be improved

 

The total score for the programme is 90.40%. It scored 33 (89.19%)  in Academic Matters, 33 (94.00%) in Staffing, 26 (96.30%) in Physical Facilities, 17.5 (97.22%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 1 (33.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 1.5 (75.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
