None of the non-academic staff has benefitted from the Staff Development Programme. 6. Academic staff offices are not adequate in space and not well furnished.

1. The University should ensure that the curriculum is enriched by the addition of at least four innovative courses without exceeding the maximum credit load. 2. The University should ensure that they have more core academic staff for the programme. 3. All academic staff should have a Ph.D. degree. 4. The University should ensure that all academic staff benefit from the Staff Development Programme. 5. The University should ensure continuous training of the non-academic staff of the department. 6. Standard academic staff offices should be provided for the programme. 7. Internet connectivity should be improved upon by increasing the internet bandwidth.

The total score for the programme is 72.80%. It scored 32 (86.49%) in Academic Matters, 16 (45.00%) in Staffing, 20 (74.07%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored less than 70% in any of the four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme.
