1. Lack of training of lab attendants in histological and embalming techniques. 2. The course content of BASUG ANA 102 did not cover histology and science of Anatomy. 3. Lack of automatic tissue processor in the preparation room inside the histology lab. 4. Lack of teaching aids such as projectors, public address system and smart boards in the lecture theatres and classrooms.

1. Lab attendants should be trained in the histological and embalming techniques. 2. BASUG ANA 102 and BASUG ANA 104 should be merged as one course to cover for the histology and science of Anatomy. 3. The University should ensure that the automatic tissue processor in the preparation room inside the histology lab is procured for the programme. 4. Effort should be made to procure the said teaching aids to facilitate teaching and learning in the programme.

The total score for the programme is 92%. It scored 37 (96.6%) in Academic Matters, 35 (92%) in Staffing, 27 (92.6%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (88.9%) in Library. The programme scored 3 (66.6%) in Funding, 3 (83.3%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
