Practical work conducted on the programme does not adequately cover the curriculum as practical manuals for higher levels are not available.

Hardware laboratory equipment in the such as clip makars, eeprom digitizer, 10base-T and 10base 100 cables are inadequate in number.

Classroom furniture are not well maintained and projectors are not functional.

Professorial offices shared toilet facilities.

Fire extinguishers and sand buckets are inadequate in number.

 

The University should ensure that all practical works requisite for the programme are conducted to cover the curriculum.

The University should ensure to provide all relevant equipment in the hardware laboratory.

The University should ensure that classroom furniture are well maintained and projectors are repaired/replaced.

The University should endeavor to provide standard and well equipped academic offices for the professorial. cadre.

The University should provide more functional fire extinguishers and sand buckets for the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 89.74%. It scored 28 (90.32%)  in Academic Matters, 33 (100.00%) in Staffing, 19 (70.37%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
