1. The University is yet to commence the implementation of CCMAS
2. The non-academic staff are inadequate in number for the programme
3. The psychology clinic and the laboratories are inadequate in space
4. No non-academic staff benefited from the staff development programme
5. The library holdings are inadequate in number in the aspects of psychobiology and industrial psychology

 

1. The University should commence the implementation of CCMAS as soon as possible
2. The University should ensure that technologists and non-academic staff are available for the programme
3. The University should ensure that standard psychology clinic and laboratories are provided for the programme
4. The University should ensure that all the non-academic staff benefit from the staff development programme
5. The University should provide more books on psychobiology and industrial biology

 

The total score for the programme is 86.00%. It scored 30.5 (82.43%)  in Academic Matters, 32 (91.43%) in Staffing, 21.5 (79.63%) in Physical Facilities, 16.5 (91.67%) in Library. The programme scored 2.5 (83.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 1.5 (75.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
