1. Marking schemes are not well-developed.
2. The Staff mix by Rank of 18:9:72 does not meet the BMAS requirements.
3. 45.45% of the academic staff do not have Ph.D degree.
4. Staff offices are inadequate in space.
5. Arts gallery is not available for the programme.

 

1. Marking schemes should be well-developed for the programme
2. The University should ensure a staff mix by rank of 20:35:45.
3. All academic staff should be encouraged to obtain Ph.D degree.
4. The University should provide spacious staff offices for the programme.
5. The University should provide an Arts gallery for the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 93.00%. It scored 37 (100.00%)  in Academic Matters, 29 (83%) in Staffing, 24.25 (89.81%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 3 (100.00%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
