1. The lecture halls and classrooms furniture are dilapidated. 2. 40% of non academic staff benefited from staff development. 3. Laboratories equipment are inadequate; NMR,FFIR,SEM,XRD,HPLC,Automatic viscometer, light fastness testing machine, gas chromatograph,mass spetrometer, electron microscope were nor sighted at the laboratories.

1. Lecture halls and classrooms furniture should be renovated or replaced by the University. 2.There should be more effort to improve on staff development by the University management. 3. The University should procure more laboratory equipment for the department.

The total score for the programme is 88.80%. It scored 35 (94.59%) in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
