REMEDIES

(1) Lack of upgraded staff offices with television set and other facilities such as refrigerator in some senior lectuter’s office.
(2) Lack of fire safety audit in the department and institution.
(3) Inadequate fire extinguishers and sand buckets
(4) Some of the equipment in the studio were not installed due to the ongoing renovation
(5) Some equipment was not engraved in the University name

 

(1)The school should make provision for television set and refrigerators in all the Senior Lecturers office
(2) The school should provide adequate fire audit in the department and institution
(3) The provision of adequate fire extinguishers and sand buckets
(4)There should be adequate provision of functional equipment in the studio at the conclusion of the renovation
(5) Provision of engraved University name must be adhered to in all the equipment

 

The total score for the programme is 88.52%. It scored 33 (89.2%)  in Academic Matters, 35 (100.00%) in Staffing, 20 (74.1%) in Physical Facilities, 13 (72.2%) in Library. The programme scored 3 (100.00%) in Funding, 3 (100%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
