1. A student enrolled in the programme does not have credit in O level Mathematics which made him not to meet the admission requirement.
2. The Final year project supervision is poor.
3 Staff offices are not properly furnished.
4. 66% of non teaching staff benefited from staff development.
5. Chemistry lab lacks fire extinguishers and sand bucket.

 

1. The University should ensure students meet the admission requirements before being admitted.
2. The Students projects should be properly supervised by the assigned supervisor.
3. The University should ensure staff offices are properly furnished.
4. Non teaching staff should benefit from staff development with the support of the University.
5. The University should ensure safety measures are provided and observed in the chemistry lab

The total score for the programme is 86.40%. It scored 32 (86.49%)  in Academic Matters, 29 (82.86%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
