1. The University should ensure that students’ projects adhere to standard and approved format
2. The University should ensure that staff mix by rank meets the NUC guidelines in all categories.
3. The University should ensure that all non-academic staff benefit from the Staff Development Programme
4. Standard laboratories with adequate space should be provided
5. The University should ensure there is standard high speed internet connection in the library

 

The total score for the programme is 87.60%. It scored 32.5 (87.84%)  in Academic Matters, 32 (91%) in Staffing, 22.5 (83.33%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 3 (100.00%) in Funding, 2.5 (83.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
