1. Staff offices are inadequate in space.
2. 50% and below of Non teaching staff benefited from staff development
3. Students project formatting, abstract writing and referencing is poorly supervised.
4. Internal quality assurance system does not exist.
5. FTIR and AAS equipment’s is not available.

 

1. Staff offices space needs to be improved.
2. The University should encourage Non teaching staff to participate in staff development.

4. Internal quality assurance should be put in place.
5. The University should provide FTIR and AAS equipment’s in their lab

 

The total score for the programme is 87.60%. It scored 32 (86.49%)  in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 23 (85.19%) in Physical Facilities, 16.5 (91.67%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
