REMEDIES

1. standard of tests and examination are of good quality, however, some of the questions did not adequately cover the curriculum.
2. students project are not well supervised
3.students practical work are fairly adequate to give training in contemporary forestry and wildlife management.
4. 66.66% of the non-academic staff did not benefit from staff development in the last three years.
5. funding is inadequate for the programme.

 

1. the university should ensured that test and examination are adequately covered.

The total score for the programme is 86%. It scored 37 (83.8%)  in Academic Matters, 35 (93%) in Staffing, 27 (85.2%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (83.3%) in Library. The programme scored 3 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
