1. Staff mix by rank of 68:12:20 is not consistent with NUC stipulated guideline of 20:35:45 in two categories

2. There us no evidence of staff development programme for
the non-teaching staff

3. Staff offices are not adequate in space

4. Classroom facilities such as fans and air conditioners are
not functional.

2. The Dean and the Head of Department Faculty if
Education should encourage the non-teaching staff to apply
for development/training programmes

3. The University should make provision for spacious offices
for the staff

4. The University should ensure that the fans and air
conditioners are functional through proper maintenance.

The total score for the programme is 83.19%. It scored 25 (80.65%) in Academic Matters, 28 (80.00%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B. APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of FULL accreditation status for the Programme
