Laboratory equipment such as ECG (Electrocardiogram) machine are not available. 5. Academic Staff offices are slightly inadequate in space. 6. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

1. The University should ensure that the curriculum is enriched by the addition of at least four innovative courses without exceeding the maximum credit load. 2. The University should ensure that test and examination adequately cover the curriculum. 3. The University should ensure that all non-teaching staff benefit from the staff development programme. 4. All essential laboratory equipment should be provided for the programme in line with the BMAS. 5. The University should provide more office space for teaching staff. 6. The programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 93.28%. It scored 31 (93.94%) in Academic Matters, 34 (97.14%) in Staffing, 23.5 (87.04%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2.5 (83.33%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
B. APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION
Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of FULL accreditation status for the Programme
