1.Practical works conducted, were of good quality but did not cover the curriculum. 2. 54.55% of academic staff have benefited from staff development programmes and all non-academic staff have not benefited from staff development programme. 3. Library holdings are only very current in journals and not very current in textbooks. 4. Funding for the programme is adequate.

1.The University should ensure that students conduct more practicals to cover the curriculum. 2. All staff should be encouraged to benefit from staff development programme. 3. More recent textbooks should be procured for the programme. 4. The University should ensure very adequate funding for the programme.

The total score for the programme is 91.06%. It scored 33 (94.29%) in Academic Matters, 29 (82.86%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
