1. Curriculum credit unit for 500 level project did not meet with the NUC BMAS across all the options in the students handbook.
2. Textbooks, journals and conference proceedings in the physical library are not currents e.g 2018
3. Funding for the programme is insufficient

 

1. The curriculum for the programme should be harmonized to 4 units across all the options in the students handbook
2. The University should ensure that textbooks, journals and conference proceedings are updated and currents for the programme
3. The University should provide more funding for the programme

 

The total score for the programme is 85.04%. It scored 33 (89.19%)  in Academic Matters, 32 (91%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 14.3 (79.44%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
