1) Staff offices particularly Professorial Offices are not adequately furnished. For example, no whiteboard, TV. Refrigerator
2) Library books and journals relevant to Biochemistry Programme are available but inadequate in numbers and coverage.
3) Internet bandwidth in the library is weak and unstable

 

1) Professors’ offices should be adequately furnished to include refrigerator, TV and whiteboard
2) More books and journals in Biochemistry are required for effective coverage.
3) Library internet bandwidth should be upgraded for ease of accessibility

 

The total score for the programme is 86.18%. It scored 31 (88.57%)  in Academic Matters, 29 (83.0%) in Staffing, 23 (85.19%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
