Sand buckets and fire extinguishers were not seen in most of the building.
The hard cover textbooks on the programme were too few in terms of quantity.
The Professorial offices had no television and toilet facilities.
The staff offices had no Air-Condition.
The funding for the programme is not adequate.

 

The University should provide more fire extinguishers and sand buckets in the buildings.
The University should acquire more relevant hard cover textbooks for the programme.
The University should television and toilet facilities for the Professorial offices.
The University should also provide Air-Condition for the staff offices.
The University should improve on funding for the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 82%. It scored 24 (73%)  in Academic Matters, 35 (100%) in Staffing, 19 (70%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (89%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and (%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
