1. Only Four (4) out of thirty – nine (39) academic staff benefited from staff development programme in the last three years. 2. No non -teaching staff benefited from staff development programme in the last three years. 3. Professorial offices had no personal convenience. 4. The furniture in the staff offices such as bookshelves and file cabinets are obsolete. 5. Practicals conducted did not cover the curriculum. 6. The computers in the laboratory are inadequate in number and equipment such as first aid kits, charts were not seen in the laboratory.

1. The University should make adequate provision of staff development for the academic staff. 2. The University should ensure non – teaching staff benefit from staff development. 3. The University should make provision for convenience in the professor offices. 4. There is need for replacement of the furniture in the staff offices. 5. students should be exposed to practical works in the computer laboratory apart from the problem solving methods. 6. More computers should be made available for the programme and equipment such as first aid kits and charts should be provided in the laboratory.

The total score for the programme is 81.40%. It scored 30.5 (82.43%) in Academic Matters, 28 (80.00%) in Staffing, 21.25 (78.70%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 1.5 (50.00%) in Funding, 2.5 (83.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of FULL accreditation status for the Programme
