1. The curriculum is substantially covered. The content of URP 104 does not fully reflect the syllabus. 2. The standard of tests and examination indicates that URP 205 (2022/2023 sessions) and URP 310 ((2022/2024 sessions) are not well spread according to the course content. 3. Bulk allocation of marks was observed in the marking scheme of URP 306 in the 2023/2024 academic session. Also, the allocation of marks for URP 102 is inconsistent. 4. The university has only one technical staff that supports the proper running of the laboratories. 5. 75% of non-academic staff have not benefited from a staff development program in the past three years. 6. The Laboratory equipment inspected met the BMAS specifications covering the broad areas of the program up to 70% but less than 80%. 7. The classroom equipment is slightly inadequate. It requires improvement and maintenance. 8. The staff office accommodation is slightly inadequate. The space in professorial offices (14m2) falls short of the BMAS requirement. 9. Current Journals are lacking in the university library 10. No evidence of funded research projects with outcomes that impact the local community. 11. Funding for the program is inadequate.

All Non-teaching of the department should participate and benefit from staff development. 6. The university should procure more equipment such as a plotter machine, projector, Model-making tools, Digital boards, GPS, Digital cameras, and Projectors. 7. It is recommended that Digital whiteboards, projectors, public Address Systems, and functional Air-conditioners be provided in the Lecture theatres 8. It is recommended that more office space; Air-conditioners; computers, printers, Bookshelves, and Fans be provided. 9. It is recommended that current journals be provided in the university library. 10. It is recommended that research collaboration be multidisciplinary in approach, cutting across institutions within and outside the country. Also funded research projects that will impact the local community are highly recommended. 11. The University should provide more funding for the program

The total score for the programme is 78.51%. It scored 26 (78.79%) in Academic Matters, 32 (91.43%) in Staffing, 20 (74.07%) in Physical Facilities, 13 (72.22%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
