There is need to improve on the departmental quality assurance in terms of moderation of course coverage and standardization of course outlines The university should engage with other institutions, research centres, think tanks and organisations like ICPR, NIIA Lagos e.t.c .

The total score for the programme is 89.91%. It scored 27 (84.38%) in Academic Matters, 32 (91.43%) in Staffing, 15 (93.75%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
