1. The following core/compulsory courses are omitted from the curriculum at 100 and 200 levels: 2. 42.86% of the academic staff do not have Ph.D degree 3. 42.85% of the academic Staff have not benefitted from staff development programme 4. The Laboratory do not have the following essential equipment specified in the BMAS: Deionezers, fraction collectors, Column 5. Some academic staff offices are not well furnished with bookshelves, 6. Physical library books and journals are inadequate in currency 7. Funding is inadequate for the programme

1. The curriculum should be reviewed to include all core/compulsory courses omitted in 100 and 200 levels in line with the provisions of BMAS 2. All Academic staff are encouraged to obtain Ph.D degree 3. The University should ensure that all academic staff benefit from staff development programme. 5. Adequate number of well-furnished offices should be provided for the academic staff of the programme. 6.More current books and Journals should be procured for the programme 7. Theprogramme should be adequately funded

The total score for the programme is 86.09%. It scored 26 (89.66%) in Academic Matters, 29 (83.00%) in Staffing, 23 (85.19%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
