2. Less than 50% of both academic and non-academic staff have not benefited from the staff development programme.
3. Staff offices are inadequate in space
4. The library holdings are inadequate in number and coverage
5. Research and collaboration exists only at individual level

 

1. The graduation requirements and examination malpractice sanctions should be clearly stated in the student’s handbook
2. The university should ensure that all staff benefit from the staff development programme.
3. Spacious offices should be provided for all staff
4. More books and international journals should be procured in the library
5. Research and collaboration should exist at university level

 

The total score for the programme is 81.00%. It scored 32.75 (88.51%)  in Academic Matters, 28 (80.00%) in Staffing, 21 (77.78%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 1.5 (50.00%) in Funding, 1.5 (50.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 1.5 (75.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
