1. Two students didnt meet the admission requirement in the programme. They are: Ardo Gajam Junior with E in mathematics and Abubakar Usman who had no O’Level results in his file. 3.The panel observe that there are no analytical instrument in the University laboratories such as: XRD, SEM and NMR

1. The University should make sure that all students admitted must have met the admission requirement. 2. The University should ensure that Staff Mix by Rank 20:35:45. meets the BMAS/CCMAS requirement 3. The panel recommend the acquisition of Analytical instrument such as the XRD, SEM and NMR

The total score for the programme is 72.07%. It scored 19 (70.37%) in Academic Matters, 24 (72.73%) in Staffing, 17 (62.96%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored less than 70% in any of the four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme.
